Mohammad Kaif was born on 1st December 1980 in Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. He was a big fan of cricket since the time India won the 1073 World Cup and that time he was 3 years old and later on he got the skills and the proper training and he fulfilled his dream of playing for India. Mohammad Kaif is 5 ft 11 inches in height which allowed to dive and get to the ball faster in the field and get on top of the ball while batting. Other than being a batter he was also a right arm off break bowler who bowled seldom.

Mohammad Kaif played for India from 2000-2006 and in those 6 years he left an unique mark for himself. He played his first test match on 2nd March 2000 vs South Africa and after just 6 years he played his last year match against West Indies on 30th June 2006.
